Import device information saved on an SD card.
Press the [Menu] key, and then select setting items using the [] or [
] key.
Log in from the control panel as an administrator with all privileges.
Select [Device Setting Information]
Press [OK]
Select [DevSettgInfo: Imp (MemDev)]
Press [OK]
Select [Select Devc Setg Info File]
Press [OK]
Select the file.
Press [OK]
Select [Device Unique Information]
Press [OK]
Select [Include] or [Exclude]
Press [OK]
Select [Enter Encryption Key]
Press [OK]
Select [Enter]
Enter the encryption key that was specified when the file was exported.
Select [Accept]
Select [Import]
[Import]
When the confirmation screen appears, press [Yes].
Make sure the message regarding that the exporting process being successfully completed appears.
Select [Exit]
The printer restarts.
Turn the printer off, and then remove the SD card.
Insert an SD card into the media slot at the front of the control panel.

Log in from the control panel as an administrator with all privileges.
Display the “Device Setting Information: Import (Memry Strge Devc)” screen.
[System Settings] |
Select the device setting information file you want to import.
[Device Setting Info. File] |
Select the image file for Home screen.
[Image for Home Screen] |
Select whether or not to import the device unique information.
[Device Unique Information] |
Device unique information includes the IP address, host name, etc.
Enter an encryption key.
[Enter Encryption Key] |
Import the information.
[Run Import] |
The printer restarts.
If import or export fails, you can check the log for the error. The log is stored in the same location as the exported device setting information file.
