Specifying a Paper Type

You can improve printer performance by selecting the optimum paper type for the tray.

Press the [Menu] key, and then select the setting items using the [] or [] key.

Select [Paper Input] Press [OK]

Select [Paper Type: (tray name)] Press [OK]

Select the type of the paper set in the specified tray Press [OK]

If you have selected [Letterhead] for the paper type, press [Escape]

Select [Maintenance] Press [OK]

Select [General Settings] Press [OK]

Select [Paper Input] Press [OK]

Select [Paper Type:Bypass] Press [OK]

Press the [User Tools] key, and then display the [Tray Paper Settings] screen.

[System Settings] [Tray Paper Settings]

Press [Paper Type: Bypass], and then specify the paper type and thickness.
