Checking the Memory Status

Use this function to display a summary of current memory usage.

Free memory space

On the standby screen you can check the percentage of free memory space. Note that destinations are stored in a separate memory location, not in free memory space.

If the available memory falls below the specified minimum, a message reporting this will appear. Delete stored files as required.

If the available memory falls below the specified minimum or the percentage of free memory space become 0%, a notification is sent to the administrator's e-mail address. To use this function, specify [Email] for [Email Notification: Memory Almost Full] of [Store] in [Reception File Settings]. For details, see Reception File Settings.

Number of files stored in memory

In the [Maintnc./Inquiry/Mach. Info] tab on the [Check Status] screen, you can check the number of [TX Standby File], [Memory Lock File], and [RX Prt. Stndby. Fl.]. [Others] shows the total number of documents registered in Information Box and received in Personal Box. See "Checking Machine Status and Settings", Convenient Functions.

Note
