Behavior

magprocess

Reduces/enlarges an image with the effect of simple pixel reduction taken into account.

magprocessx

Reduces/enlarges an image with the effect of image correction in the horizontal direction taken into account.

magprocessy

Reduces/enlarges an image with the effect of image correction in the vertical direction taken into account.

magprocessxy

Explanation

  • If reduction/enlargement for image correction is specified, a different process of reduction is applied to the image, and may produce printing results different from that of simple pixel reduction.

  • In order to reduce or enlarge the image with a certain method of image correction applied, enter the printing option name that corresponds to the method you want to use.

  • These printing options have no effect when the printed image is enlarged or at full size.

  • Do not specify these printing options when printing image TIFF data. Doing so may produce unintended results.

  • If either of these printing options are specified, the setting for "e. Correct Fine Lines in Reduced Images" on the RTIFF Menu is ignored.

  • These printing options do not require a value specified with the option. Enter the printing option name that corresponds to the method of image correction you want to use.
