Enabling the Ink Saving Function

By enabling the Ink Saving function, you can conserve the consumption of ink. Print results will be lighter in density than normal.

Important

  • The Ink Saving function cannot be selected while Unauthorized Copy Prevention is enabled.

1Click the WordPad menu button in the upper left corner of the window, and then click [Print].

2In the "Select Printer" list, select the printer you want to use.

3Click [Preferences].

4Click the [Detailed Settings] tab.

5In the "Menu:" box, click [Print Quality:Standard].

6Select [On] in the "Ink Save:" list.

7In the "Select Print Quality:" list, select [Speed Priority (Drawing)], [Speed Priority], [Standard], or [Quality Priority].

8Change any other print settings if necessary.

9Click [OK].

10Start printing from the application's [Print] dialog box.
