1In [Advanced Settings] for the custom paper, check the present value in 022: [Image Transfer Current: B&W]. Is it lower than 150 microA?

Yes

Carry out all of the following:

  • Increase the value by 5 microA in 022: [Image Transfer Current: B&W].

  • Set 041: [Paper Transfer Current; Trail Edge: B&W] to "200%".

  • Set 042: [Ppr Transfer Current Trail Edg Dist: BW] to "30 mm".

No

No further improvement is likely. Contact your service representative.

2Print the image. Has the problem been resolved?

Yes

Repeat Steps 1 to 2. If the problem persists even though you have increased the value in 022: [Image Transfer Current: B&W] to 150 microA, contact your service representative.

  • Changing the transfer current may produce either or both of the following side effects:

    • Increase in toner consumption
