Specify the illumination mode of the paper edge detection sensor.
In [Short Time] mode, the paper edge detection sensor casts light on paper several times to reduce measurement errors.
In [Long Time] mode, the paper edge detection sensor casts light for a long time to detect paper.
Select [Long Time] for dark colored paper, transparencies, or other media that are difficult for the paper edge detection sensor to detect in [Short Time] mode.
