When loading paper whose size cannot be selected automatically or when loading paper in the bypass tray, specify the paper size using the control panel. For details about the paper sizes that can be detected automatically, see Paper Size Specifications.
To use custom size paper, be sure to specify the paper size using the control panel and the printer driver.
The printer cannot print on custom size paper if the application does not support custom size paper.
