Cleaning the Exposure Glass

This section explains how to clean the exposure glass and the scanning glass.

1Lift the exposure glass cover or optional document feeder.

2Clean the exposure glass with a damp cloth and wipe it with a dry cloth.

  • If you do not clean the exposure glass, marks on the glass will be printed.

  • Use the cloth supplied with the machine to clean the exposure glass.
