Settings You Can Change with User Tools

DHCP (Auto-Obtain)

You can make settings under a DHCP environment. If you have set [DHCP (Auto-Obtain)] to [On], you cannot specify [IP Address], [Subnet Mask], or [Gateway Address].

Default: On

IP Address

You can specify [IP Address]. If you specify [IP Address], set [DHCP (Auto-Obtain)] to [Off].

Default: 011.022.033.044

Specify a unique IP address - not the same as any other on the network.

Subnet Mask

Be sure to specify [Subnet Mask] before using the printer. If you specify [Subnet Mask], set [DHCP (Auto-Obtain)] to [Off].

Default: 000.000.000.000

Gateway Address

A gateway is a connection or interchange point between two networks. Configure the gateway address for the router or host computer used as a gateway.

When you configure [Gateway Address], set [DHCP (Auto-Obtain)] to [Off].

Default: 000.000.000.000

Ethernet Speed

Set the access speed for networks.

Select a speed that matches your network environment. [Auto Select] should usually be selected.
