Replacing the Toner Bottle

This section explains how to replace toner bottles before they become empty.
A message will appear when it nears the time to replace a component.
If the toner bottle is replaced before this message appears, the remaining toner level is not updated and the remaining toner level before replacing the toner bottle appears instead.
If the toner bottle is replaced after this message appears, the message will appear at the correct time according to the actual remaining toner level.
If the toner has run out and the cover is open, close the cover and check the status.
Access the Adjustment Settings for Skilled Operators menu.

Press [Machine: Maintenance].
Press [Unscrew/Screw-on Cap to Replace Toner Bottle].
Press the key corresponding to the color of the toner bottle you want to replace.
Press [OK].
The bottle makes a noise when its cap closes.
Open the cover.
Push the lever.
Pull out the toner bottle.
Attach the new toner bottle.
Close the cover.
Be sure to close the cover after replacing the toner bottle. Otherwise, the toner bottle may not be locked and the toner may not be replenished.
