Machine IPv4 Address

You can specify the machine's IPv4 network address.

Default: [Auto-Obtain (DHCP)]

When you select [Specify], enter the IPv4 address and subnet mask as "xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx" ("x" indicates a number).

When you select [Specify], make sure that the IPv4 address is different from that of other machines on the network.

The physical address (MAC address) also appears.

IPv4 Gateway Address

You can specify the gateway address for the router or host computer used as a gateway.

A gateway is a connection or interchange point between two networks.

Default: [0.0.0.0]

Machine IPv6 Address

You can specify the machine's IPv6 network address.

  • Link-local Address

    The machine's specified link-local address appears.

  • Manual Config. Address

    The machine's manually configured address appears. You can specify the machine's IPv6 address manually.

  • Prefix Length

    You can specify the IPv6 Prefix Length.

    Default:[64]

  • Stateful Address

    The machine's specified stateful address appears.

  • Stateless Address: 1-3

    The specified stateless address appears if [IPv6 Statlss Addr Autocnfg] is set to [Active].

You can specify the DHCPv6 setting.

Default: [Inactive]

You can specify IPv6 Stateless Address Autoconfiguration.

IPv6 Gateway Address

You can specify the machine's IPv6 gateway address.

DNS Configuration

You can configure settings for the DNS server. When you select [Specify (IPv4)] or [Specify (IPv6)], select [Server 1] or [Server 2], and then enter the DNS Server IP address as "xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx" ("x" indicates a number).

DNS Protocol Priority

You can specify the priority protocol to be registered to the DNS server.

LAN Type

You can select Ethernet or Wireless LAN. This menu appears only when the optional wireless LAN interface unit is installed.

If Ethernet and Wireless LAN are both connected, the selected interface has priority.

Ethernet Speed

You can specify the network speed to operate the machine. If a communication error occurs because of compatibility problems with the hub, select a speed suitable for your network environment.

Host Name

You can specify the host name. Enter the host name using up to 31 characters.

The following host names are unacceptable:

  • A host name starting with or ending with a hyphen

  • A host name in which hyphens are used consecutively

  • A host name starting with a dot

  • A host name in which dots are used consecutively

  • A host name starting with "RNP" or "rnp"

Machine Name

You can specify the machine name. Enter the machine name using up to 31 characters.

USB Speed

You can specify the USB speed.
