This setting allows you to switch the scan setting between one-sided and two-sided scan within a single job when the Batch setting is enabled.
Use the following procedure to specify [Mix 1 & 2 Sided] before scanning originals.
Press [Send Settings].
Press [
] three times, and then press [Batch].
Press [Mix 1 & 2 Sided] twice.
Press [OK] twice.
Start the scan.
Switch between [1 Sided] and [2 Sided] in [Original Settings] under [Original] while the machine is waiting for additional originals.
If both [Mix 1 & 2 Sided] and [Divide] are specified, the function specified later is given priority.
To switch the scan setting for additional originals to [1 Sided] after scanning one side of the last page of a batch of two-sided originals, press [Change Setting], and then press [1 Sided].
If you select [Mix 1 & 2 Sided], both one-sided and two-sided originals are stacked face up (reversed) in the same output tray. This allows you to check the scanning order regardless of whether the originals are one-sided or two-sided.
