Note that the available channels (frequency ranges) and locations to use the wireless LAN are subject to the regulations of the country or region where the printer is used. Be sure to use the wireless LAN according to the applicable regulations.
Transmission spec.:
Based on IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n (wireless LAN)
Protocol:
TCP/IP, IPX/SPX
Transmission Rate:
1–130 Mbps
Frequency range (Center Frequency):
2412–2472 MHz (1–13 channels)
5180–5320 MHz (36, 40, 44, 48, 52, 56, 60, and 64 channels)
5500–5700MHz (100, 104, 108, 112, 116, 120, 124, 128, 132, 136 and 140 channels)
Ad-hoc mode Channel Frequency range (Center Frequency):
2412–2462 MHz (1–11 channels)
5180–5240 MHz (36, 40, 44, and 48 channels)
Transmission mode:
Ad hoc mode
Infrastructure mode
Web Image Monitor is supported.
A transmission rate of 130 Mbps is a theoretical value of the wireless LAN specification. The actual transmission rate may be lower, depending on the operating environment.
The maximum transmission rate in the ad-hoc mode is 54 Mbps for IEEE802.11a and 11 Mbps for IEEE802.11b. The Ad-hoc communication is not supported in an IEEE802.11g/n environment.
Channels other than 1–11 and 36–52 cannot be used because of the specifications and the configuration of the access point.
The channel in use might differ depending on the country.
