HDD

Allows you to use the Document Server function or the browser function.

Fax unit

Allows you to use the facsimile function.

Extra G3 interface unit

This lets you add a G3 fax line.

Expansion memory

Provides more memory for the facsimile function.

This allows you to send fax documents at high resolution (Super Fine). This also allows you to receive fax documents at high resolution (Fine or Super Fine).

Printer/scanner unit

Allows you to print by PCL printer driver, and use the scanner function. The HDD is included.

OCR unit

Allows you to use the searchable PDF function.

PostScript 3 unit

Allows you to print by Adobe PostScript 3 printer driver.

IPDS unit

Allows you to print using Intelligent Printer Data Stream (IPDS).

XPS card

Allows you to print XPS files.

USB device server

Allows you to add an Ethernet port to the printer and use two IP addresses at the same time.

IEEE 1284 interface board

Allows you to connect to an IEEE 1284 cable.

Wireless LAN board

Allows you to communicate over wireless LAN.

Bluetooth interface unit

Allows you to communicate with Bluetooth-enabled devices.

File format converter

Allows you to download the documents that are stored in the Document Server. See "Downloading Stored Documents with Web Image Monitor", Copy/ Document Server.

Copy Data Security unit

If a document containing embedded text for unauthorized copy guard is copied, protected pages are grayed out in the copy.

Enhanced Security HDD

Allows you to enhance the security of the hard disk by using an encryption function that is compliant with FIPS 140-2.

Browser unit

You can access the Internet. You can also print the Web pages displayed on the control panel.

Fax connection unit

Allows you to send and receive faxes via a different machine that has the fax unit installed.

SD card for NetWare printing

This card is needed when using a NetWare server.
