You can forward or route received documents from the main-machine to the sub-machine and print them on the sub-machine.
For example, you can make the main-machine forward the documents for the sales department to the sales department's machine, and forward the documents for the personnel division to the personnel division's machine. The sales department's machine and the personnel division's machine print the documents individually.
To forward or route received documents, in the Facsimile Features menu on the main-machine, configure the forwarding or routing settings in advance.
You can specify the sub-machine per line used for reception or per sender. For details about the necessary settings, see the following:
If you use [Remote Reception Setting per Line]
On the main-machine, select the line in [Remote Reception Setting per Line] in the Facsimile Features menu. Specify the sub-machine as a forwarding destination. For details about Remote Reception Setting per Line, see Reception Settings.
If you use [Remote Reception per Sender]
On the main-machine, register a special sender in [Program Special Sender] in the Facsimile Features menu, and then set [Remote Reception Setting per Sender] to [On]. Specify the sub-machine as an end receiver in [Remote Machine]. For details about Remote Reception Setting per Sender, see Special Senders to Treat Differently.
When a received document is printed on both sides of the paper on the sub-machine, the compulsory security stamp on the back side of a page might not appear at the intended position. To correct the position of the compulsory security stamp, do the following:
When receiving documents that are only either portrait or landscape orientation
Change the orientation of the paper loaded in the paper trays. If paper is loaded in orientation, rotate it to . If paper is loaded in orientation. rotate it to .
When receiving documents of both portrait and landscape orientations
On the sub-machine, select [Off] for [2 Sided Print] in [Facsimile Features] to change the mode to one-sided printing.
