Sending a fax using On Hook Dial
The On Hook Dial function allows you to check the destination's status while listening to the tone from the internal speaker. If you have an extra telephone, you can talk and send a fax in one call.
This function is available in Immediate Transmission mode only.
This function is not available with Internet Fax.
Press the [Facsimile] key.
Place the original.
Press the [On Hook Dial] key.
“On-HK” appears on the screen.
Specify the destination using the number keys.
If you make a mistake, press the [Clear/Stop] key and try again.
If you hear a high pitched tone, press the [B&W Start] key.
Press [TX Mode], and then press the [B&W Start] key.
