You can specify the HDD Authentication Code of the Enhanced Security HDD Option. Changing the HDD Authentication Code from the factory-set code prevents the Enhanced Security HDD Option from being analyzed or operated after it is removed from the machine.
Log in as the machine administrator from the control panel.
Press [System Settings].
Press [Administrator Tools].
Press [
Next] 5 times.
Press [HDD Authentication Code].
Enter an authentication code, and then press [OK].
You must enter an authentication code of between 8 and 32 alphanumeric characters.
Press [OK].
Press [Exit].
Log out.
If you want to change the HDD Authentication Code, repeat the procedure.
