Setting Up as a Remote Printer

Follow the procedure below to use the printer as a remote printer under NetWare.

Netware is inactive in the default setting. Activate Netware in "Interface Settings" under "System Settings" on the control panel. For details on how to activate Netware using the control panel, see Interface Settings. You can also activate Netware using Web Image Monitor or telnet. For details, see Web Image Monitor Help or Remote Maintenance Using telnet.
IPv6 cannot be used on this function.
To use this function, an optional NetWare unit is required.
To use this machine as a remote printer, set it to NDS mode.
Do not use this machine as a remote printer when Pure IP is used.
