Format of on-demand e-mail messages

To use "On-Demand E-mail Notification", you need to send a request e-mail with a particular format to the printer.

Using your e-mail software, enter the following:

Enter the specified e-mail address in "Email Notification E-mail Address".

Subject

Enter "requeststatus".

From

Specify a valid e-mail address. The device information will be sent to the address specified here.

Note

  • The e-mail message must be within 1 MB.

  • The subject is not case sensitive.

  • The body of the request e-mail and all text written in the e-mail body are ignored.

  • The e-mail may be incomplete if sent immediately after the printer is turned on.
