Before you use Auto E-mail Notification or On-demand E-mail Notification, setup an e-mail account to be used for the function. Perform the following configuration task in Web Image Monitor.
Log in to Web Image Monitor in administrator mode.
For details about logging in, see Displaying the Printer Configuration Screens Using a Web Browser.
Click [Configuration] on the [Device Management] menu.
Under "Device Settings", click [Email].
Make the following settings in Email Notification Account:
Email Notification E-mail Address: Enter the address using alphanumeric characters. This will appear as the sender (From:) of the e-mail notification. Send requests for e-mail notification to this address.
Receive Email Notification: Specify whether to use on-demand e-mail notification.
Email Notification User Name: Enter the specified user name for the e-mail account in "Email Notification E-mail Address".
Email Notification Password: Enter the specified password for the e-mail account in "Email Notification E-mail Address".
Click [OK].
Click [Logout].
Quit Web Image Monitor.
The user name and e-mail address that is already registered as the e-mail destination cannot be specified as the recipient of e-mail notification.
