diskbuffer, memorybuffer

Specify the location in which to create the data buffer (device) to temporarily store the input data while the machine is rasterizing the TIFF data.

Important

  • If "diskbuffer" is specified, do not turn off the machine while the input data is being processed. The hard disk may be damaged if the machine is turned off while the machine is processing the input data.

Creates the data buffer on the hard disk of the machine

memorybuffer

Creates the data buffer in the memory of the machine

Explanation

  • You may be able to print a TIFF or CALS file if its printing has failed due to an error caused by the restrictions on the data stacking sequence or data size.

  • If "diskbuffer" is specified, some data may take longer to print.

  • If either of these printing options is specified, the setting for "W. Data Buffer" on the RTIFF Menu is ignored.
