When using a printer with parallel connections

1Go to the command prompt.

If the computer is running under Windows XP/Vista/7 or Windows Server 2003/2003 R2/2008/2008 R2, click [Accessories] from [All Programs] on the [Start] menu, and then click [Command Prompt].

2Execute the print command.

Example:

C:\WINDOWS>copy /b tiff-filename lpt1

Note

  • Make sure to add the "/b" option switch. Without the "/b" option, the TIFF file or CALS file will not print properly. ("/b" is the option for sending binary data.)

  • Substitute "tiff-filename" with the name of the TIFF or CALS file to be printed.
