Printing in Black and White

You can print data using only the black ink. Color images are also printed in black and white.

1Press the [User Tools / Counter] key.

2Press [Printer Features].

3Press [Right arrow key].

4Press the [RPGL Menu] tab.

5Press [Down arrow keyNext] twice.

6Press [81. Colour Mode].

7Press [Black & White].

8Press [OK].

9Press [Exit].

10Press [OK].

11Print the data from the computer.

Note

  • When you print a black-and-white image in color, black areas may be printed using CMY+K inks in some cases. To print black color more clearly, select black-and-white mode for printing black-and-white images.

  • If black-and-white white printing is specified in the application, make sure that you select "Black & White" in "81. Colour Mode". If you select "Colour", black areas may be printed using CMY+K inks in some cases.
