Locked Print

You can set a password to a document, and prevent unauthorized print of the document.

1Open the document to print.

2Select [Print...] on the [File] menu.

3Click [Job Log] in the pop-up menu.

4Click [Locked Print] in the [Job Type:] pop-up menu.

5Enter user ID in the [User ID:] box using up to eight alphanumeric characters.

6Enter the password in the [Password:] box.

You can use four to eight digits for the password.

7Print the document using the print function in the document's native application.

The document is not printed at this time, but is instead stored in the machine.

8Enter the password using the machine's control panel, and print the document.
