Specifying thick paper or OHP transparencies for paper type using the control panel

Important

  • Use A4Portrait or 81/2 × 11Portrait size OHP transparencies, and specify their size.

  • Usually only one side of OHP transparencies can be used for printing. Be sure to load them with the print side down.

  • When printing onto OHP transparencies, remove printed sheets one by one.

1Press the [User Tools/Counter] key.

2Press [Tray Paper Settings].

3Press [Down arrow key].

4Press [Printer Bypass Paper Size], and then specify the paper size.

5Press [OK].

6Press [Paper Type: Bypass Tray].

7Press [Paper Type].

8Select the paper type.

To load thick paper, press [Down arrow key], and then press [Thick Paper].

To load OHP transparencies, press [Down arrow key], and then press [OHP (Transparency)].

9Press [OK].

When printing onto OHP transparencies, proceed to step 11.

10When printing onto thick paper, make sure that the specified paper thickness is displayed in [Paper Thickness].

11Press the [User Tools/Counter] key.
