Print Quality

After creating a document, open the [Printing Preferences] dialog box in the document's native application.

For details about displaying the [Printing Preferences] dialog box, see Displaying the Printing Preferences dialog box in an application .

Click the [Detailed Settings] tab.

In the "Menu:" box, click the [Print Quality] icon.

Set the convenient print functions.

To set the toner saving function, Select [On] in the "Economy Color:" list.
To separate the colors into CMYK and specify the colors to be used for printing with the PostScript 3 printer driver, clear the check boxes for the colors not to be used in "Separate into CMYK, then Print in Designated Color Only".

Change any other print settings as necessary. For details, see the printer driver Help.

Click [OK].

Start printing from the application's [Print] dialog box.
