Turning Off the Power

When disconnecting the power cord from the wall outlet, always pull the plug, not the cord. Pulling the cord can damage the power cord. Use of damaged power cords could result in fire or electric shock.

After turning the printer's power off, wait at least a few seconds before turning it back on. If the message "Turn main Power Switch off" appears, turn the printer's power off, wait 10 seconds or more, and then turn it back on again. Never turn the power back on immediately after turning it off.
Before unplugging the power cord plug, turn off the power switch and make sure the power switch indicator turns off. Not doing so may result in damage to the hard disk or memory, leading to malfunctions.
Do not turn off the power while the printer is in operation.
