Specifying Scan Type

Select a scanning method for the original.

To scan in color, set [Original Type] to [Full Color: Text/Photo] in [Options].

To scan in black and white, set [Original Type] to anything except [Full Color: Text/Photo] in [Options].

1Press the [Scanner] key.

2Press [Options].

3Press the [Up arrow key] or [Down arrow key] key to display [Original Type], and then press the [OK] key.

4Press the [Up arrow key] or [Down arrow key] key to select a scan type, and then press the [OK] key.
