Recommended size of originals
This section describes the recommended size of the original.
Exposure glass
Up to 216 mm (8.5") in width, up to 297 mm (11.7") in length
ARDF/ADF
Paper size: 140 to 216 mm (51/2" to 81/2") in width, 140 to 356 mm (51/2" to 14") in length
Paper weight: 52 to 105 g/m2 (13.8 to 28.0 lb.)
Only 1 sheet of an original can be placed on the exposure glass at a time.
In the ARDF or ADF, up to 50 sheets or 35 sheets of originals can be placed at once, respectively (when using paper weighing 80 g/m2, 20 lb.).
