When you use paper with a thickness that exceeds 127.9 g/m2 (34 lb.), set the printing speed to setting 3 or lower. If paper is curled, correct the curl before placing the paper in the machine. The allowable paper curl should be no more than 5 mm. If you are unable to correct the paper curl, stack the paper with the curl either facing up or down, as shown in the image. If you print with curled paper, it might wrap around the drum or cause prints to be stained.
