You can print stored documents repeatedly and download them as images to a computer using Web Image Monitor.

If you specify System Settings so that you can receive faxes distributed to the delivery server, the distributed faxes cannot be saved on the hard disk.

For details about the optional units required for this function, see "Functions Requiring Optional Configurations", Getting Started.

For details about this function, see Confirming/Printing/Deleting Received and Stored Documents.

You can use the following e-mail notification functions:

1Press [Store].

2Select [On] or [Off].

If you select [Off], proceed to step 5.

3Specify a destination for the Reception Report e-mail if necessary.

Press [Notify Destination]. Specify a destination using the destination list, and then press [OK].

4To apply encryption and/or electronic signatures to the Reception Report e-mail, configure the settings in "Security".

To encrypt e-mails, press [Encryption].

To attach a signature to an e-mail, press [Signature].

After configuring the settings, press [OK].

5To configure settings to send notification e-mails if the memory capacity or the number of documents that can be stored is being reached, press [Down arrow key], and then press [Email] under [Email Notification: Memory Almost Full] so that it can be highlighted.

6Press [OK].

Note

  • When "Store" is set to "On", more memory space is used as the number of saved documents increases. After memory space becomes insufficient, no more documents are saved on the hard disk. When this happens, the machine starts printing and then overwriting old documents, or it deletes the received document data without printing it and then prints the Reception File Erased Report.

  • When "Store" is set to "On", you can apply a User Parameter (switch 40, bit 0) to stop the machine automatically receiving new faxes when available memory space runs too low. See Parameter Settings.

  • For the maximum number of destinations you can register in a group, see Maximum Values.

  • For details about the "Security" setting, see Encryption and Signature for Internet Fax/E-mail.
