Canceling a Transmission After the Original Is Scanned (Before a Transmission Is Started)

Use this procedure to delete a file stored in memory before its transmission has started.

1Press [Comm. Status/Print].

2Press [Check/Stop Transmission File].

3Press [Display File List].

4Select the file you want to cancel.

If the desired file is not shown, press [Up arrow key] or [Down arrow key] to find it.

5Press [Cancel TX].

To cancel another file, repeat steps 4 through 5.

6Press [OK].

7Press [Exit] three times.

Note

  • If multiple destinations were specified, only the number of the destinations that have not received the document you sent is shown.

  • If multiple destinations were specified, only one destination number appears. To display all destinations, press [Check/Change Settings].

  • To delete some destinations from a broadcast, see Deleting a Destination from a Standby File.

  • There are cases when a destination may not be selected as the destination appears as "Asterisk", depending on the security settings.
