Checking the Memory Status

Use this function to display a summary of current memory usage.

Free memory space

On the standby screen you can check the percentage of free memory space. Note that destinations are stored in a separate memory location, not in free memory space.

If the available memory falls below the specified minimum, a message reporting this will appear. Delete stored files as required.

If the available memory falls below the specified minimum or the percentage of free memory space become 0%, a notification is sent to the administrator's e-mail address. To use this function, specify "E-mail" for "E-mail Notification: Memory Almost Full" of "Store" in "Reception File Settings". For details, see Reception File Settings.

Number of files stored in memory

On the [Check Status] screen you can check the number of "Transmission Standby File(s)", "Memory Lock File(s)", and "RX Print Standby File(s)". "Others" shows the total number of documents registered in Information Box and received in Personal Box. See "Checking Machine Status and Settings", Troubleshooting.

Note

  • You can check the number of received documents using "RX Print Standby File(s)" if either of the following settings is configured:

    • "Store" is set to "On" in "Reception File Settings"

    • "Output Mode" is set to "Standby to Print" under "Output Mode Switch Timer" in "Reception File Settings"

    • "Output Mode" is set to "ID Required Print" under "Output Mode Switch Timer" in "Reception File Settings"
