Printing Stored Documents

This section explains how to print documents stored in the machine.

Important

  • This feature is not available in applications that use proprietary drivers such as PageMaker.

Sample Print

Select to have only the first set of a multiple set print job printed so you can check the appearance before printing the remaining sets. The remaining sets can be printed or canceled from the printer's control panel or Web Image Monitor.

For details, see Sample Print.

Locked Print

When you want to print something you do not want anyone else to see, you can be sure that the printer does not start printing until you are physically present at the printer and enter password on the printer's control panel or Web Image Monitor.

For details, see Locked Print.

Hold Print

The print job is sent to the printer and saved temporarily on the printer's hard disk. When the saved job is printed, the job is deleted from the printer's hard disk. You can also print it at a specified time.

For details, see Hold Print.

Store and Print

The print job is stored on the printer's hard disk and printed at the same time. You can reprint the stored job as many times as you require until you delete the job from the printer's hard disk.

For details, see Store and Print.
