Sending a fax using On Hook Dial

The On Hook Dial function allows you to check the destination's status while listening to the tone from the internal speaker. This function is useful when you want to ensure that the fax will be received.

1Press the [Facsimile] key.

2Place the original.

3Press the [On Hook Dial] key.

“On Hook” appears on the screen.

4Specify the destination using the number keys.

5If you hear a high pitched tone, press the [B&W Start] key.
