Using the Printer Again after it has been Inactive for a Long Period

Use the following procedure to start using the printer again after it has been inactive for a long period.

  1. Plug in the power cable.

  2. Pull the opening lever on the front cover, and then carefully lower the front cover.

  3. Pull up the fusing unit levers with thumb fingers.

  4. Close the front cover with both hands carefully.

  5. Turn the power switch to On.
