Before Replacing

Replace all the parts included in the Maintenance Kit at the same time. To replace them, follow the procedure below:

  1. Turn off the power, and then unplug the power cable.

  2. Check the box contains the following items:

    Maintenance kit illustration

    1. Friction Pad × 3

      See Replacing the Transfer Roller.

    2. Transfer Roller (with gloves)

      See Replacing the Friction Pad.

    3. Paper Feed Roller × 3

      See Replacing the Paper Feed Roller.

    4. Fusing Unit

      See Replacing the Fusing Unit.
