Sending Scan Files by E-mail
You can attach scan files to e-mails and send them via connections such as LAN and the Internet.
Sending Scan Files to Folders
Using the Scan to Folder function, you can send scan files over the network to shared folders, FTP server folders, or NetWare folders. You can send scan files to a shared folder on a computer simply by placing the original and using the control panel to specify the recipient.
Sending Scan Files Using WSD
Web Services on Devices (WSD) is a function that can be used with Windows Vista, Windows 7, and other compatible operating systems. Using WSD, you can send files scanned by this machine to a designated computer on your network.
Storing Files Using the Scanner Function
Using the scanner function, you can store scan files in the machine and then send the stored files by e-mail or Scan to Folder.
Saving Scan Files on a Removable Memory Device
If the optional media slot is installed on your machine, you can use the scanner function to save scan files on a removable memory device. You can digitize and save documents easily, without using a computer.
