You can set the desired type of print job list that appears on the screen when you press [Print Jobs].

  Displays the list of print jobs stored in the machine.

• List Per User ID

  Displays the list of the User ID who stored a file in the machine.

Specify whether to uncompress and extract compressed job data before printing it.

The supported compression format is GZIP.

You can select the amount of memory used in Font Priority or Frame Priority, according to paper size or resolution.

You can select to have print on both sides of each page.

You can specify the number of print sets. This setting is disabled if the number of pages to print has been specified with the printer driver or another command.

The number of copies can be specified from 1 to 999 by increments of one.

You can select whether or not to print blank pages.

Pages that match one of the following conditions are identified as blank.

• There are no images.

• There are images but they are outside the printable area.

• There are only blank characters.

You can specify how long the machine waits to receive a print job before allowing other functions such as the copier and scanner functions to interrupt it.

Specify the printer language.

This menu can be selected only when an optional PostScript 3 unit is installed.

Default: [Auto]

You can specify whether A4 or Letter (8¹/₂ 11) size paper is automatically selected as the default size when the job-specified size is unavailable.

You can select the default paper size.

The paper size you can select is as follows:

• A3, A4, A5, A6, B4JIS, B5JIS, B6JIS, C5 Env, C6 Env, DL Env, 12 18, 11 17, 11 15, 10 14, 8¹/₂ 14, 8¹/₂ 13, 8¹/₂ 11, 8¹/₄ 14, 8¹/₄ 13, 8 13, 8 10, 7¹/₄ 10¹/₂, 5¹/₂ 8¹/₂, 4¹/₈ 9¹/₂, 3⁷/₈ 7¹/₂, 8K, 16K, Custom Size

You can rotate original images when printing.

When printing, original images are always rotated by 180 degrees. Therefore, output might not be as expected when printing onto letterhead or preprinted paper requiring orientation. Using this function, you can specify image rotation.

Default: [Auto Detect]

• Off

  When set to [Off], original images are always rotated by 180 degrees.

• Auto Detect

  When set to [Auto Detect], the machine detects a letterhead or preprinted paper automatically, and does not rotate the image.

• On (Always)

  When set to [On (Always)], the machine does not rotate.

This function reduces printing speed.

You can specify which of the two options, [Driver / Command] or [Machine Setting(s)], has priority for determining the paper size for each tray.

Default: [Driver / Command] (bypass tray), [Machine Setting(s)] (the other trays)

You can select whether or not to expand the print area.

When set to [Off], margins on all sides are 4.2 mm (0.17 inches).

When set to [On], margins on the left and right will become 2 mm.

Default: [Off]

You can set the default printer language if the machine cannot find the printer language automatically.

This menu can be selected only when an optional PostScript 3 unit is installed.

Default: [PCL]

You can specify whether or not the machine automatically switches paper trays if paper of the specified size and type is not loaded in the driver-designated tray.

Default: [Off]

You can select whether or not to automatically switch to a suitable tray when the current tray runs out of paper.

When [On] is set, the extended auto tray switching is priority, regardless of the printer driver settings.
