Users log in to ELP NX using one of two methods: When authentication is not set (disabled) on the printer, users enter the ID and password specified for each job in the printer driver; when authentication is set (enabled), users enter the login user name and password pre-specified in the printer driver.
For security, only jobs related to the logged-in user appear on the display panel. This prevents unauthorized users accessing and printing other user's jobs.
ELP NX is a printing application that allows users to securely send print jobs from a computer to a network-connected printer. This application also allows users to send print jobs stored on the printer to another device.
ELP NX is installed in the printer itself, and compresses, encrypts, and stores documents securely in the printer.
Up to 500 print jobs for each user can be stored on the local hard disk of the printer.
The maximum page count per job is 9999.
