Changing the Paper Size in the Paper Trays

This section describes how to change the paper size in the paper trays.

Important

  • If a paper tray is pushed vigorously when putting it back into place, the position of the tray's side fences may slip out of place.

  • Do not stack paper over the limit mark.

  • Check the paper edges are aligned with the right side.

  • When loading small quantities of paper, be careful not to squeeze the side fences in too tightly, as the paper will not feed properly.

1Make sure the paper tray is not in use.

2Pull the paper tray out slowly until it stops.

3Remove any remaining copy paper.

4While pinching the release lever, slide the end fence outward.
