Perfect Binding Cover Sheet Print

Use this function or not or select whether to print on the cover sheets when using the perfect binding function.

The following table shows where you can select this function.

Windows 2000 / XP / Vista, Windows Server

2003 / 2003 R2 / 2008

[Perfect Binding Cover Sheet Print:] on [Document Options] on the [Advanced] tab in the Printing Preference dialog box.

Mac OS

[Perfect Binding Cover Sheet Print:] in [Printer Specific Options] in the print dialog box.

Mac OS X

[Perfect Binding Cover Sheet Print:] on the [Features x] tab in [Printer Features] in the print dialog box.

You can select the following items:

Off

Disables Perfect Binding Cover Sheet Print.

Back Cover (Inside)

Prints the last page of the job on the inside of the perfect binding cover sheet.

Front Cover (Outside)

Prints the last page of the job on the outside of the perfect binding cover sheet.

Front (Outside) / Back (Inside)

If one-sided printing is specified for the inside pages, the job is cancelled.

If duplex printing is specified for the inside pages, the last page of the job is printed on the outside of the perfect binding cover sheet and the second page from the last is printed on the outside of the cover sheet.
