Perfect/Ring Binding

Use this function to apply either perfect or ring binding to your prints.

The following table shows where you can select this function.

Windows 2000 / XP / Vista, Windows Server

2003 / 2003 R2 / 2008

[Perfect/Ring Binding:] on [Document Options] on the [Advanced] tab in the Printing Preference dialog box.

Mac OS

[Perfect/Ring Binding:] in [Printer Specific Options] in the print dialog box.

Mac OS X

[Perfect/Ring Binding:] on the [Features x] tab in [Printer Features] in the print dialog box.

You can select the following items:

Off

Disables Perfect/Ring Binding.

Perfect Binding

Applies perfect binging to prints.

Ring Binding

Applies ring binding to prints.

Punch only for Ring Binding

Punches ring binding holes into prints.
