Changing the Paper Size

This section describes how to change the paper size.

Note

  • Be sure to select the paper size with User Tools. If you do not, misfeeds might occur. For details about Tray Paper Size, see “System Settings”, Network and System Settings Guide.

  • Tray 1 and LCT (optional) use only A4Portrait paper. If you want to load 81/2 × 11Portrait in Tray 1, or load 81/2 × 11Portrait or B5 JISPortrait in LCT, contact your service representative.

  • The optional Extension Unit is required to load B4 JISLandscape, A4Landscape, 81/2 × 14Landscape or 81/2 × 11Landscape.

  • Fan the paper before loading.

  • Straighten curled or warped paper before loading.
