HD Format

Follow the procedure below to format the hard disk drive.

  1. Press the [Menu] key.

    The [Menu] screen appears.

  2. Press the [Down arrow key] or [Up arrow key] key to display [Maintenance], and then press the [Sharp Enter] key.

  3. Press the [Down arrow key] or [Up arrow key] key to display [HD Format], and then press the [Sharp Enter] key.

  4. Read the HD format confirmation message, and then press the [Sharp Enter] key.

    The hard disk drive is formatted, and the message appears.

  5. Press the [Sharp Enter] key.

    The [HD Format] screen appears.

  6. Press the [Menu] key.

    The initial screen appears.
