Setting the SSID

To use wireless LAN, set SSID for transmission. Consult your network administrator for the SSID to use.

When [Comm. Mode] is set to [Infrastructure] or [Ad hoc], you must specify the Service Set Identifier (SSID) of the wireless access point that the printer will connect to for network access.

Ask the network administrator for the SSID to use.

  1. In the [Wireless LAN] menu, press the [Up arrow key] or [Down arrow key] key to display [SSID], and then press the [Sharp Enter] key.
