This section describes the user tools in the Tray Paper Settings menu under System Settings.
If the specified paper size differs from the actual size of the paper loaded in the paper tray, a misfeed might occur because the correct paper size was not detected.
Paper Tray Priority: Copier (copier/document Server)
Specify the tray to supply paper for output.
The default setting is [Tray 1].
If the LCT is installed, [LCT] is displayed.
Paper Tray Priority: Facsimile (facsimile)
Specify the tray to supply paper for output.
The default setting is [Tray 1].
If the LCT is installed, [LCT] is displayed.
Paper Tray Priority: Printer (printer)
Specify the tray to supply paper for output.
The default setting is [Tray 1].
If the LCT is installed, [LCT] is displayed.
The default tray switches to LCT, if the LCT is installed.
Printer Bypass Paper Size
Specify the size of the paper in the bypass tray when printing data from the computer.
The paper sizes you can set for bypass tray are as follows:
[Auto Detect], A3, A4, A4, A5, A5, A6, B4 JIS, B5 JIS, B5 JIS, B6 JIS, C5 Env, C6 Env, DL Env, 12 × 18, 11 × 17, 81/2 × 14, 81/2 × 13, 81/2 × 11, 81/2 × 11, 81/4 × 13, 8 × 13, 71/4 × 101/2, 71/4 × 101/2, 51/2 × 81/2, 41/8 × 91/2, 37/8 × 71/2, [Custom Size]
You can specify a custom size of between 90.0 - 305.0 mm (3.55 -12.00 in) vertically, and between 148.0 - 600.0 mm (5.83 - 23.62 in) horizontally.
You can specify a custom size of between 90.0 - 305.0 mm (3.55 - 12.00 in) vertically, and between 148.0 - 1260.0 mm (5.83 - 49.60 in) horizontally. For details about specifying custom paper sizes, contact your sales or service representative.
Tray Paper Size: Tray 1
Specify the size of the paper in the bypass tray when printing data from the computer.
The paper sizes you can set for bypass tray are as follows:
A4
The paper guide for the tray 1 is fixed. If you need to change the paper size, contact your service representative.
Tray Paper Size: Tray 2
Select the size of the paper loaded in the paper tray.
The paper sizes you can set for tray 2 are as follows:

The default setting is [Auto Detect].

Select the size of the paper loaded in the paper tray 3 - 4 (when the lower paper trays are installed).

Cover Sheet Tray
You can specify and display the paper tray that is used to set front cover sheets. After selecting the paper tray, you can also specify the display timing and copy method for two-sided copying.
The default setting is [Off].
When [At Mode Selected] is selected, front cover sheet tray settings only appear when the cover function or slip sheet function is selected.
When [Full Time] is selected, the front cover sheet tray is always displayed.
Slip Sheet Tray
You can specify and display the paper tray that is used for setting slip sheets.
You can also specify the display timing and copy method for two-sided copying.
The default setting is [Off].
When [At Mode Selected] is selected, slip sheet tray settings only appear when the cover function or slip sheet function is selected.
When [Full Time] is selected, the slip sheet tray is always displayed.
