Changing the Security Options Menu

Follow the procedure below to erase data inside memory.

  1. Press the [Menu] key.

    The menu screen appears.

  2. Press [Up arrow key] or [Down arrow key] key to select [Security Options], and then press the [OK] key.

  3. Press [Up arrow key] or [Down arrow key] key to select [Extended Security], and then press the [OK] key.

  4. Press the [Up arrow key] or [Down arrow key] key to select [Erase All Memory], and then press the [OK] key.

  5. Press the [Up arrow key] or [Down arrow key] key to select [On], and then press [Erase No].

  6. Press the [Up arrow key] or [Down arrow key] key to enter overwrite times, and then press the [OK] key.

  7. Press the [Up arrow key] or [Down arrow key] key to select [On], and then press the [OK] key.

    Wait for one second. The [Security Options] menu appears.

  8. Press the [Menu] key.

    The initial screen appears.
