Changing the Security Options Menu

Follow the procedure below to erase data inside memory.

1Press the [Menu] key.

The menu screen appears.

2Press [Up arrow key] or [Down arrow key] key to select [Security Options], and then press the [OK] key.

3Press [Up arrow key] or [Down arrow key] key to select [Extended Security], and then press the [OK] key.

4Press the [Up arrow key] or [Down arrow key] key to select [Erase All Memory], and then press the [OK] key.

5Press the [Up arrow key] or [Down arrow key] key to select [On], and then press [Erase No].

6Press the [Up arrow key] or [Down arrow key] key to enter overwrite times, and then press the [OK] key.

7Press the [Up arrow key] or [Down arrow key] key to select [On], and then press the [OK] key.

Wait for one second. The [Security Options] menu appears.

8Press the [Menu] key.

The initial screen appears.
